PMSTP Regional Divisions
The Pakistan Maritime Science & Technology Park (PMSTP) is structured into two main regions: PMSTP North in Islamabad and PMSTP South in Karachi. Each division contributes uniquely to PMSTP’s mission of advancing maritime science and technology, creating solutions to national and global maritime challenges. Under the leadership of experienced directors, PMSTP’s regional divisions are committed to driving progress, innovation, and collaboration in Pakistan’s maritime sector.

PMSTP North
Islamabad
As the research and development center of PMSTP, the North division in Islamabad is focused on pioneering innovations that enhance Pakistan’s maritime research and technological expertise. This division fosters strategic partnerships, supports advanced research projects, and works on long-term solutions to strengthen the maritime landscape. Guided by Commodore (Retd.) Muhammad Abid SI(M), Director of PMSTP North, the team remains dedicated to expanding our national capabilities and building Pakistan’s maritime presence on the global stage. In his words:


PMSTP South
Karachi
Located in the vital port city of Karachi, PMSTP South is central to supporting Pakistan’s coastal infrastructure and blue economy initiatives. The division is actively engaged in research, sustainable development, and public-private collaborations that strengthen Pakistan’s maritime resilience and growth. Commodore (Retd.)
